Selwyn Village Foundation 

2016

The design concept of a retirement village has been inspired by Shabby Chic countrysyde style, which is well known in French province. It is a cosy bearing the resemblance of cottege style that is characterized by deep and bright colours such as aubergine, lavander and yellow. 

 

Furniture has been carefully selected in correspondence to the needs of eldery residents. All of the chairs appear in bright colours to help them make a choice of the sit.

The beautiful garden that is attached to the dining room became the major inspiration with its blossoming lavender and smell of herbal spices. The large pergola creates shadow in the sunny day and comes up with the concept as an area for activity and getting together.
